The artwork depicts Lord Krishna and Lord Balarama traveling on a brilliant chariot as the enthralled residents of Mathura gather to witness their adored deity. The Gopika’s make a caressing gesture beneath the chariot, seeking to prevent Krishna from heading to Mathura.
